Ready to walk on the wild side? The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens in Sanford is one of our favorite community partners. It’s also a great destination for kids of any age. Say hello to your favorite animals, learn more about conservation or enjoy the Florida outdoors at the splash pad.
They also have plenty of fun events, so be sure to check out their calendar for some things to do in Sanford.
Wave hello to the ocean
What’s a Florida Spring Break without a beach day? Slap on some sunscreen, roll down the windows and cruise on down to one of the many beaches Florida has to offer.
Cocoa Beach is just a 45-minute drive from Orlando, or New Smyrna Beach is a great option for those on the north side of town. Don’t forget to bring a volleyball, beach toys or beach chairs to add a little fun and R&R to the day.
Hit the theme parks
If you can’t hear “Spring Break in Orlando” without thinking about theme parks, you’re in luck. Whether you want to see Mickey and Minnie, explore the sea or catch up on the magic with Harry Potter, Orlando has a theme park for you. There are even a variety of fun water parks to explore if you’re looking to cool off.
Don’t want to bust the budget? Get a dose of the magic by dining and shopping Disney Springs or Universal Orlando City Walk.
Explore a local festival
From strawberries to fine art, Central Florida is absolutely bustling with local events this time of year. The weather is usually just warming up, and there are plenty of people looking for things to do.
Stroll the quintessential Park Avenue in Winter Park and take in amazing works of art at the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival. Or, catch the last few days of the Florida Strawberry Festival in Plant City.
Many local cities and towns also have things to celebrate, so check out the community calendars and enjoy a staycation adventure.
Take the fun of mini golf indoors
The Florida weather can be brutal for Spring Break plans. Whether it’s extreme heat or afternoon showers, it’s never fun to have plans cancelled because of Mother Nature.
Luckily for our guests, that never happens at Elev8 Fun. We bring all the fun of the classic Orlando putt-putt attraction indoors. Plus, it’s not just old-school mini golf. Elev8’s course blends new technology—like robotics, sounds and custom FX—with mini golf challenges.
And because Spring Break fun should come with Spring Break savings, guests can bundle mini-golf with laser tag, the ropes course or the Omni Arena to get even more bang for their buck.
Filled up your Spring Break calendar? We hope so! There are so many great things to do in Central Florida… and even just here at Elev8 Fun. We hope we made your list and look forward to seeing you for a day of next-level entertainment.
